Charities, and non-profits with at least 40% government funding, can get back 50% of the GST (or the federal part of HST) they paid, plus part of the provincial HST (Ontario 82%; Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, PEI 50%). Claim with Form GST66 within 4 years.
