You may have to pay income tax by instalments if your net tax owing is more than $3,000 ($1,800 in Quebec) for this year and was also more than that in either of the two previous years. Instalments are due March 15, June 15, September 15 and December 15. CPP payable on self-employment earnings is added when you work out the instalment amount.
