Canada

A registered charity files the T3010 information return within six months after its fiscal year-end and issues official donation receipts. A non-profit that is not a charity may have to file the T1044 (for example if it had over $10,000 of investment-type income or over $200,000 of assets), also within six months. Registered charities can generally get back 50% of the GST and the federal part of HST they pay through the public service bodies' rebate. and https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/forms-publications/publications/rc4034/rc4034-gst-hst-public-service-bodies-rebate.html
